New Album...

Fresh off from a world tour that saw R&M jet set across a string of locations including New York, Ottawa, Zurich, Tokyo, Seoul, Adelaide, Auckland, Salvador and Lima it is fair enough to say that the pop duo have experienced a journey that has been just as culturally enriching as it has been musically inspiring. Which is why they are now ready to announce that they will be releasing a brand new album which captures the sense of the elation that the touring experience has brought to them.

The new release, ‘Fusion’, is in many ways a celebration of the place both Ryan and Mark are at in their lives and a labour of love that they hope will bring as much joy to their fans as their fans bring to them. The title ‘Fusion’ is an analogy for love and the empowerment it brings, as by definition a ‘fusion’ refers to a process that results in unity, and is there a stronger unity than the one experienced when two people come together?

Set to the musical soundscape of dance, synth-pop, R&B and hip-hop Fusion’s celebratory themes of love, life and internal empowerment are brought to life. Complete with lyrics such as; ‘It’s a utopia when you are in my sight’ and ‘Don’t you feel my pulse when you hold me close?’ The album is guaranteed to assert itself as a club and party classic.

The first single, the album’s title track, which was written by Mark came together within a matter of a day after a bout of inspiration that arose immediately after the two collaborated and decided on the album’s concept. The slick track that sees production from the iconic Linda Perry set the standard for the songs that followed and brings the album’s themes into keen focus; ‘It’s a chemical reaction, full of heat attraction, baby don’t you hold back, I got your back’ sing the two in a hypnotic harmony.

While the album is poised for a release within the first half of 2011, under the duo’s new label ‘Fascination Records’ the album’s first single can be expected within the coming months and will have you 'going one hunded one'.

  4. ^ How dare you say that their album will be a 'kissy' mess? I rather think that this album will supersede all the others and will become number one on the charts as soon as it comes out!

I think you should be ashamed of yourself mister!
